Transcription services involve the process of converting audio or video recordings into written text. Free State Reporting, Inc. (FSRI) listens to the recording and transcribes it into a written document. Transcription services may be used for a variety of purposes, such as creating written records of meetings, interviews, or speeches, or providing closed captioning for videos.
The resulting transcripts are typically provided in a digital format and can be customized to meet the needs of the client, such as by including time stamps, speaker identification, or verbatim transcriptions. Transcription services may be provided by private companies or individual freelancers, and the cost and turnaround time may vary depending on factors such as the length and complexity of the recording, the level of accuracy required, and the formatting and delivery requirements.
